I rely pretty heavily on what lands in my gmail inbox. My own inbox is usually the way to discover ideas. So anytime I receive an email with a killer subject line or really great content that I think I could use at some point. I always save those emails in an inspiration folder in my gmail account so that I can go back when my creativity is running on empty and I need a little inspiration to get me going. These tools are for inspiration, not for me to copy and paste.
After gathering up all of my ideas that I need to use for my email campaigns, I begin to craft a strong subject line. Why? well, because it's the first thing anyone sees when I send them an email. It’s the brief statement that’s supposed to pique the interest of my recipients. It should capture their attention so they'll want to open my email and continue reading. This will increase my CTR weekly.
Before designing any of my email marketing templates, I like to determine whether it'll be text-only, HTML email design or interactive email design. If it's HTML email design template, then it'll include brand colors, logo and beautiful formatting. I will also add personalization and strong CTAs. Designing plays the big role of email marketing so I believe a beautiful template can catch those leads attention.
After designing an email template, I normally love to use HTML, CSS and AmpScript to bring those email design to life. The HTML is what allows me to add colorful display, engaging images, website hyperlinks, exciting calls-to-action, and those on-brand fonts. That's why I love coding because I get to become flexiable and creative.
After designing every email from scratch using Keap or HubSpot, now it's time to test every single send. I wouldn't want the emails that I created to look strange in my subscribers inboxes without me ever noticing. Whenever I test my emails, I like to test different elements such as subject line & preheader, sender data such as " Name & Email Address ", send times, images "header images", content such as highlighting, tone of voice, greeting, pricing, discount amount, length. Last but not least, I would also test buttons & CTA such as texts, colors and positioning.
This is where the fun comes in. After sending out email campaigns every wednesday 8am to 9am, I normally like to A/B test to analysis results and gather data using Keap or HubSpot. This will help me big time. Why? Well because i'm able to read the subscribers mind, A/B testing will let me know if using their full name, last name or first name will increase our open rate or decrease it. A/B testing will also tell me if certain colors, pictures, texts & links, buttons shapes or colors is the reason why our click-rate is increasing or decreasing.

My Email Marketing Knowledge
Auto Responder Email - This email is a broad term used to describe any email that’s sent automatically in response to a user action. For example, after signing up for something or purchasing a product, the client will receive a autoresponder which shows support and a sweet short appreciation.
Indoctrination Email - So this type of email it’s designed to get new leads from a problem-aware into a solution state. These emails should ultimately make them feel like they’re part of something bigger by building reports and simultaneously indoctrination the audience to trust and believe in your mission and solution.
Abandoned Cart Email - So this is an email or a series of emails sent to a prospect after they left your shopping cart without making a purchase. For example, the first email is a short and sweet reminder letting them know that they forgot to complete their purchase. The second email will includes a reminder of the bonuses, risk reversal and any limited time offers.
Sales Email - A sales email is a type of business outreach correspondence that introduces a product or service to a prospective customer. Sales emails attract new customers, bolster relations with existing clients, introduce both types of clients to new products or services and strengthen their loyalty to the brand.
Affiliate Email - This email is an email or series of emails written for the purpose or promoting another brand’s products or services to a list of your subscribers. The goal for this email is to create interest, generate clicks and ultimately yes, make the sales. I believe clicks hold a lot of weight in affiliate marketing, so catching their attention is important.
Re-Engagement Email - This email is an email or series of emails sent to inactive subscribers. It is sometimes known as reactivation campaign or a win-back campaign. So with this type of email, I’ll be nudging those little sleeping beauties and seeing if they’ll re-engage with me and my content. So I like to do this with two types of emails. The first I’d like to offer a free gift and just add value and hope that those loss leads come back and engage with me and my content and then the second email is more to the point. I would use
Dean Jackson nine-word email format which goes something like this. “Hey name, are you still looking to insert benefit ?” Obviously that benefit being whatever my brand or business does.
Content Email - This email is an email or series of emails written for the purpose of providing educational, inspirational, or entertainment value. So content emails are often called newsletters and my users start to expect to receive them which is really important to build rapport. In my opinon, selling 24/7 doesn’t look good, you won’t gain any sales by selling all the time. This where content email comes in to save the day.
